But as I started to read the instructions, I discovered that this porcelain cookware is not recommended for ceramic or glass top stove tops. So unfortunately this will be going back. I wish they had put that in the description. The pamphlet went on to say that it should not be used on a glass top stove at extremely high temperatures because the porcelain surface could fuse to the glass top. In other words, use with caution, I have used this pan on the medium-high setting on my glass cooktop with no problems. We purchased two other pans prior to this and the nonstick surfaces seemed to disappear after a couple of uses. The only negative comment is something another reviewer mentioned; it's hard to clean the outer side and bottom but it doesn't affect the cooking so I still rated this 5 stars. You won't need any other pan! |
