A Rotofryer is good for a couple of people, but its small capacity makes it hard to keep a number of guests supplied in munchies.First of all, this model is wonderfully designed for safety and cleaning. The magnetically attached cord will pull out at a light tug, and the operating controls require you to set them fully before any heat is applied to the oil. Despite an hour of continuous use frying fresh onion rings and zuchini, there was absolutely no burned flour in the bottom (the cool zone) and the oil was easily filtered when we were done. Finally, it comes apart in five pieces, four of which can go right in the dishwasher, making cleanup easy and safe. All the metal seems to be entirely stainless steel. The controls, because of the safety design, are not as intuitive as one would expect, but I think it's a good trade... Read more |
